As we welcomed 2026, the afi family came together to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter filled with optimism, gratitude, and shared purpose. The dawning of the new year was commenced in an auspicious manner with the lighting of the oil lamp and a welcome speech by Rimaz Marzook.
It was not only a day of traditional customs and norms but also a day filled with fun and laughter as the entire team engaged in a wide variety of exciting games.
Afi also celebrated the ultimate winners of afi cares, our flagship corporate social responsibility initiative that is executed with the internal team being divided into separate groups and executing community development projects that align with the Sustainable Development Goals 1 through 6. The first place winner was the team lead by Mohomad Rikaz, the second place was led by Vindya, and third place was led by Prantha. We are very proud of the positive change our all our afi cares teams were able to enact within their community.
Our Head of Finance, Yasmin Thahir, delivered an inspiring speech as the evening came to a close. Surrounded by colleagues, laughter, and a spirit of togetherness, we reaffirmed our shared goals for the year. Here’s to a year of growth, collaboration, and making a difference together.
