Access to clean water is more than a necessity. It’s a fundamental human right essential for life, health and dignity.
Our flagship corporate social responsibility initiative, AFI Cares—Paving a Path for a Better Tomorrow, is committed to addressing this critical issue by aligning with ‘Sustainable Development Goal 6: Ensuring access to water and sanitation for all’ as one of our primary focus areas.
Through monthly outreach programs driven by our dedicated staff, we aim to make a tangible difference in the lives of communities. Most recently, we were able to help A.L.M. Nazeer, his wife and three school-going children who live in Ninthavur in the Eastern Province.
Previously, they had no access to the national water grid, nor did they have a well. Finding water to take care of even the most basic necessities of daily life was a challenge they faced every day. As part of our AFI Cares initiative, we successfully connected their home to the national water grid, providing them with a direct line supplying clean water to their home and transforming their lives.
At AFI Corp, we believe in the power of collective action to create lasting change. By working together, we can build a future where clean water is a reality for all.
