One Hall to Five Classrooms: Empowering Young Minds Through AFI Cares

In March, our company had the privilege of supporting CP/N/Patana Tamil Vidyalayam, a school located in Kosgala, as part of our ongoing AFI Cares CSR efforts. The school had been facing a significant challenge. A single large hall was being used to accommodate five separate classes, all conducted simultaneously in the same space. This situation created an environment that was far from ideal for both teaching and learning.

Teachers found it increasingly difficult to manage lessons due to the constant noise and distractions from adjacent classes. For students, the absence of physical separation meant they had to deal with overlapping voices, unclear instructions, and frequent disruptions. The result was a chaotic atmosphere that made focused learning nearly impossible and increased stress levels for everyone involved.

Recognizing the urgent need for a solution, we stepped in to provide five partition boards. These partitions were used to divide the hall into five distinct classroom spaces, offering both teachers and students a more structured and conducive environment.

Since the installation, the transformation has been remarkable. Teachers now have better control over their classes and can communicate more clearly with students. Students are more engaged, with fewer distractions and a greater ability to focus. The new setup has also contributed to a more peaceful atmosphere, allowing learning to take place in a calm and organized manner.

Our support for CP/N/Patana Tamil Vidyalayam reflects our commitment to quality education and improved learning environments, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #4: Quality Education. This goal aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Through this initiative, we were able to help create a space where education can truly thrive.
