Empowering Communities: AFI Corp's Dedication to Equitable Education in Sri Lanka

At AFI Corp, we understand the power of education in uplifting the lives of individuals, families and entire communities. That is why Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, promoting inclusive and equitable quality education, is a cornerstone of our AFI Cares – Forging a Path for a Better Tomorrow initiative. As our flagship CSR program, it is an actionable representation of our commitment to fostering positive change across communities in Sri Lanka.

Since 2008, Dharun Niswan Arabic College in Colombo 9 has been providing education to children from impoverished families who may otherwise have been left out of the school system altogether. Relying solely on donations, the school was in need of translations of a vital textbook for its students. We donated 25 copies of this essential textbook, translated in Tamil and English.
